THE YARRAYIGBA PROJECT

A great example of the type of project that could come to your school!

A beautiful thing that comes with working on a project with Kofi is not only his experience and expertise, but the incredible team of African master players and dancers that he involves every opportunity he can.

This project saw young students being exposed to a local Ghanian Highlife Band, Master Ghanaian dancers and esteemed African Musicians including Melbourne based renowned Lamine Sonko.

During weekly classes across 2 terms, Kofi worked with class 3 - 6 students from Warburton and Hoddles Creek Primary Schools, teaching them traditional drumming, dancing, songs and culture from Ghana and other West African countries.
